Unfortunately we don't know the exact date of this piece but we believe it is from the early 1930s. This item was originally a desk mounted drawing board but was converted to free standing with the addition of specially crafted legs. The adjusting latch has sustained damage but the board can still be manually adjusted. We cleaned and waxed this item but it still retains its character of age, which makes it a very attractive period piece.
